I manage the organization's entire communication strategy and PR. I led the launch of a middle-grade book, BORN JUST RIGHT, with my daughter and the org's co-founder, Jordan Reeves. I was the digital director of Mizzou's main digital platforms. I took on a new leadership role that did not exist at Mizzou before. I led the strategic planning and brand consistency for the main Mizzou social media channels. I also supported the development of a totally new website design for missouri.edu.

I was the national office's local social media strategist. I supported our national brand voice for all of AARP's 53 state offices. I was also the admin for all national accounts in Sprinklr. I provided strategic and tactical guidance for all of AARP's national brand campaigns.Before the strategist role, I was a training advisor who helped build a social.

For a year, I was a member of the Disney Parks Moms Panel where I supported the brand by answering guest questions. The role was compensated with a fully paid trip to Walt Disney World.

I was the director of the komu.com website and all of its social spaces. I was also in charge of finding and implementing new technologies in content delivery at KOMU. Along with those tasks, I was an associate professor in the School of Journalism at the University of Missouri-Columbia where I taught social and interactive journalism skills.

I helped change the entire work flow of the newsroom as we transitioned to a tapeless newsroom using Avid iNews and Newscutters. I created a better flow of communication and come up with an efficient plan of attack when organizing a newsroom with an average of 150 reporters, producers and web editors who work through the newsroom every six months.

I first taught newscast producing for the Radio-TV Faculty. I evolved my career into teaching the Advanced Internet Applications for Radio and Television. My students worked on advancing traditional media by taking advantage of emerging tools available for journalists (and all communicators).

I worked with researchers and professionals to look at ways to create a news aggregators that help bring in more traffic to local news websites and hopefully help encourage more communication in the communities we cover.
