I'm a multidisciplinary graphic designer and web developer with over 15 years of experience in branding, print, and web design. Recent brands/organizations I've worked with include the United Nations, Alliance for Climate Education, The Story of Stuff, Bucknell University, Ian's Natural Foods, DiscoverEats, Open Letter Books, Deep Vellum Books, Austin Bat Cave, and World Literature Today. Through Ashandelle I've worked with KUNGFU.AI, Ceresa, Bonsai, and Unacast among others.I started my career working as a graphic designer and web developer in the publishing industry and now freelance full-time for clients in a variety of industries. I'm currently working with the fantastic creative team at Ashandelle in Austin, where we provide a full suite of design, copywriting, marketing, and strategic communication services for technology startups.As the art and web director for World Literature Today magazine, I led all aspects of design for the print and online edition of the magazine, and also developed a complete redesign of the website. My work on WLT’s online marketing strategies increased website visits by over 33% and expanded the magazine’s social media following from 500 to over 450,000 followers. During my time at WLT, I was selected as one of Folio:’s 15 Under 30 in 2012, received the 2018 Waintroob/Meyers Superior Performance Award from the University of Oklahoma, and won a 2019 Creaties Award as the leader of several WordPress web development projects.I'm from Oklahoma and now live in Austin, Texas with my husband and two dogs. I continues to mentor college students interested in design and web editing and volunteer with Austin Bat Cave.
