Pursuing these advanced degrees simultaneously while working full-time was a rewarding challenge that honed my time management and prioritization skills.During my time in Baltimore, I was deeply invested in the community. I mentored aspiring tech professionals, advised the Digital Harbor High School technology committee, and served on the Board of the Emerging Technology Center, an incubator for entrepreneurial tech ventures. Recognitions include being named one of SmartCEO Magazine’s Top 10 CIOs of the Year in 2009 and receiving their Executive Management Award in 2013. I was also honored to join the Mayor’s Smarter City Task Force (2014–15) and the Women Leading Baltimore Mentoring Experience (2015).Since 2016, I’ve planted new roots in central Virginia, embracing life as a farmer while continuing to foster growth in my community. I mentor local entrepreneurs, volunteer with food banks, and actively seek opportunities to engage with and uplift those around me.
