My role involves conducting research into pilot behavioral modeling and developing a plugin for the open-source air traffic simulation tool BlueSky aimed at improving simulation accuracy and effectiveness.

The study association VSV 'Leonardo da Vinci' is the society of Aerospace Engineering students at the TU Delft. It organizes many activities for its members, more than 95% of all students at the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering. The faculty is constantly growing, and growing strongly. Currently there are approximately 2800 members, making the Society of Aerospace Engineering Students the largest society of its kind in the Benelux. The Society aims to serve the moral and material interests of aerospace students in all aspects of student life. Since 1945, this has been achieved by organizing a wide variety of activities, mostly in the field of aerospace engineering. To accomplish this, 23 committees and 4 departments organize many different activities like guest lectures, excursions, a study tour, symposium and social events. I'm part of the board where together with 6 other students we run the society as a full-time task, putting our study on hold for a year to fully dedicate ourselves to the society.Taking place in the board is awarded by the TU Delft with a scholarship of 12 months.

The faculty bar is completely managed by students. This includes opening and closing, being responsible for organizing and managing drinks and parties, financial accounting and purchasing of consumables.My specific tasks were to maintain external contacts with our suppliers, maintain monthly appointments with the account manager of our main supplier, and do weekly purchases of all consumables. With a revenue of €40.000This activity costs more than 20 hours a week, which I did next to my study of getting a BSc in Aerospace Engineering. Freshmen Weekend Committee organizes a weekend for 300 new students to introduce them to the study and each other. I was responsible for all the logistics, including all the script for the 100 volunteers.Taking place in this committee is awarded by the TU Delft with a scholarship of 1 month.
