Growing up in his family's apparel business, Jens was surrounded by fabrics, fashion, and design. While living in Europe, he worked as a NATO peacekeeper, banker, and sales consultant. Jens then continued his career in North America by becoming a flight instructor and professional pilot. Honoring commitments, being reliable, helpful, and trustworthy are his dominant characteristics. After marrying his beautiful wife Marlys, hanging up his pilot hat and settling down in the Pacific NW, he and Marlys founded Adrette Corporation in 1999​. Their Oregon-based window fashion design company focuses on assisting homeowners and businesses with exquisite locally-made artisan window treatments, bed coverings, and other fabric specialties. They both believe that everyone deserves a clean and natural environment for healthy living! Jens continues to improve and apply his knowledge of Building Biology principles and helps clients to create healthful spaces.
