I Marine Expeditionary Force

Assigned multiple duties to include Forward Operations Officer for 1st Transportation Group (1500 Marines, 1300 vehicles) during Iraq invasion. Sailed to and from Iraq and was the Amphibious Task Force Logistics Officer to Landing Force West - Largest Amphibious deployment/redeployment from San Diego since the Korean War. Seven ship Amphibious Ready Group (ARG), 7500 Marines from 1st Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF), and all accompanying fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters, assault vehicles, supplies and ground transport vehicles. Performed an amphibious landing at Kuwait Naval Base - convoyed/flew all personnel and equipment into assault positions for Iraq invasion. During hostilities, was assigned as the forward Operations Officer for Transportation Support Group providing direct logistics support to over 25,000 Marines with I MEF.Upon completion of the hostilities was tasked to backload the seven ships and return to San Diego, CA.
