As front man for Anacortes Community Energy, I promote and support community involvement with the City of Anacortes' Georgetown University Energy Prize program efforts. I work with Sustainable Connections, local utility providers and a core of great volunteers to design and present innovative energy efficiency programs to educate and engage local citizens. Our goal is to make Anacortes a nationally recognized leader in energy efficiency and a model for proactive communities everywhere. Oh, yeah, and win $5,000,000 for sustainability projects throughout our city along the way!

Working on the City of Anacortes' Georgetown University Energy Project. This is a national competition with a 5 million dollar prize for small to medium cities to spur reductions in residential energy consumption by deploying new and innovative programs. I manage fleets of delivery trucks over 11 western states, with goals of improving order assembly speed, order accuracy, and lower overhead by utilizing low entry cost technology. I have updated shipping methods, expanded delivery options and streamlined procedures.Initiate data collection programs to track actual costs and efficiency of various delivery routes, leading to smarter decision making, ship methods and charge rate structures.

Responsible for managing purchasing, logistics, shipping, and engineering. On the purchasing side, I cover everything from office supplies to custom-built machinery. I have improved process flow via automation and developed 2 patented laboratory technologies. I identify and contract solutions for facility improvements and am often tasked with creative problem-solving. I help cover gaps in personnel needs, managing office tasks, and sales as needed.
