As the Northern Kentucky University Athletics Videographer and Editor, your primary responsibility is to capture high-quality video footage of various athletic events and activities within the university's sports program. You will then be tasked with editing and producing engaging video content to promote the university's athletic teams and enhance the fan experience. Key responsibilities include: Videography: Film athletic events, practices, and other related activities, ensuring high-quality video and audio capture. Operate camera equipment, including setting up shots, framing, and adjusting camera settings as needed. Maintain and organize video equipment to ensure it is in optimal working condition. Video Editing: Edit and post-produce video footage to create highlight reels, promotional content, and game summaries. Utilize video editing software to enhance visual and auditory aspects, such as graphics, effects, and sound. Ensure timely delivery of edited content for publication on various platforms. Collaboration: Work closely with the Athletics Department, coaches, and marketing team to understand the desired content and messaging. Collaborate with other videographers and support staff to coordinate coverage of athletic events and share resources. Compliance: Adhere to university and NCAA guidelines for video recording and content creation. Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor while representing the university at athletic events.
