Under my leadership, it became the most successful franchise in the country, premiering over 500 new works in it's first year while also generating profit.In addition to my work in the non-profit sector, I'm an experienced wilderness survival instructor and have appeared on NatGeo TV, in the New York Times, and other media outlets. I was a co-founder of the North Brooklyn Community Boathouse and one of the lead organizers of the Save Bushwick Inlet Park movement, which successfully defeated property developers and city hall to secure world-class parkland on the Brooklyn waterfront and change the map of NYC forever. I am a passionate advocate for social justice and equality. In addition to leading successful community initiatives in New York City, I've been arrested at the UN and the White House for acts of peaceful civil disobedience.
