Through its innovative and life-changing programming, Bechdel Project has earned a national reputation.I founded No Shame Columbus, which presents short, original, uncensored theatre. Under my leadership, it became the most successful franchise in the country, premiering over 500 new works in it's first year while also generating profit.In addition to my work in the non-profit sector, I'm an experienced wilderness survival instructor and have appeared on NatGeo TV, in the New York Times, and other media outlets. I was a co-founder of the North Brooklyn Community Boathouse and one of the lead organizers of the Save Bushwick Inlet Park movement, which successfully defeated property developers and city hall to secure world-class parkland on the Brooklyn waterfront and change the map of NYC forever.
