Jenson Smith is an actor, writer-director, psychic-medium, and cellist.Her film and TV work include Orange Is the New Black, FBI: Most Wanted, The Affair,Louie, The Comedian, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, The Queen (dir. Christina Choe, Vimeo staff pick of the week), and the upcoming films Holy New York and Magic Hour.As a writer-director, she has created several series including Too Much Therapy (with Sondra James and Marc Menchaca), Yoga World With Beverly Johnson, Now You’re Cooking with Layla,Unfriended, and her latest pilot, Malignant (in development).Her films include Naughty Jesus, The Medium, The Hidden Baby, Real People, That Girl Freaks Me Out, Christmas on the Couch, Lisa Goes Hiking, and the upcoming feature Cranfills Gap.In addition to working in the narrative field, Jenson is also a psychic-medium. She's been featured on Cosmic Tuesdays, Haunted As Hell with comedian Emily Winter, and worked with Emmy winning Lana Wilson on her most recent doc, Look Into My Eyes.Jenson also plays the cello professionally, regularly performing as a singer songwriter at various venues in New York alongside session work and scoring for film/TV.
