Managing the Lean transformation and preparing for SAP S4 implementation

I am facilitating the Strategy process in cooperation with our CEO. Making a corporate strategy for The Topsil Group is a fantastic task which can only be done with close and enthusiastic teamwork with our Polish and Danish management teams.

Working with our sales department to optimize our sales process and the tools we use. Currently I am merging the capability document from Topsil with the capability document from Cemat to align our two sales departments. At the same time I have started in corporation with QA to plan and communicate our transfer plan so the transition will go as smooth as possible for all our customers.In Business improvements we are testing a white board system designed to catch and handle all continuous improvements and make sure no suggestions are lost between departments. We expect that this new initiative will go corporate in spring of 2012.

Stabilizing the production of Silicon by standardizing work, flow and education of employees from a TPM perspective.

Creating the new Greenfield factory in Frederikssund is a major task. I am responsible for securing a Lean flow through the internal value chain. I am bringing operators, maintenance and other staff functions into the design phases and as a sanity check of finished designs.The construction of the new factory started 4. April and is expected to finish at the end of march 2012.Currently I am calculating our transfer from the old factory to the new site. A difficult puzzle with many parameters to be considered.
