About Jens Schneider

Jens Schneider, Founder, Executive Producer and Director at the Conservation Film Foundation (CFF), of over 220 wildlife, nature and environmental education films set in Namibia's wild landscapes. The films focus on reconciling humans with nature, on how we are, because the landscape is.With conservation research scientists, we explore the delicate balance between natural wildlife and rural communities and shed light on the ancient wisdom of African communities, while discovering new ways of co-existing with the wildlife that shares our planet.CFF documents changing perspectives and explores the unknown in conservation research through the use of point-of-view visual stories, which place viewers in the middle of the action. These stories focus on the relationship between animals and humans co-existing in a particular landscape, highlighting the challenges and opportunities that arise as these two worlds intersect with conservation.In 2024 CFF introduces FILMSAFARIS a Eco-travel TV series. Building on the success of Wild Namibia, which aired on ONE AFRICA TV in 2023, and inspired by the acclaimed COVID Chronicles series, this new production aims to captivate both local and international audiences.Through breathtaking cinematic storytelling, the series showcases Namibia’s stunning landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and critical conservation work. With a strong focus on environmental stewardship, FILMSAFARIS ROAD TRIP highlights the essential efforts of individuals and organizations dedicated to preserving Namibia's wildlife and ecosystems, offering a once-in-a-lifetime travel experience while promoting the country's rich conservation narrative.A Communication Science graduate from RAU/UJ and UNISA as well as the Public Administration Senior Management Course (SMDP) from NIPAM and Stellenbosch University School of Public Leadership. I lectured at the University of Applied Science in Ludwigshafen and Heilbronn, Germany. In Namibia, I lectured Communication and Academic Writing Skills at the University of Namibia (UNAM).To add to my resume, I was trained as an InWEnt/GIZ trained eLearning Instructional Designer, Content Developer and Facilitator, successfully applying Open Space Technology in strategic organisational development workshops and consultations in Namibia, Angola, South Africa, Egypt, Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania, Senegal, Ghana, Manila, Philippines, and Georgia-Caucasus.
