My work lies in the procurement and setup of new testing equipment, to ensure that everything we produce is of the highest quality.

I work as first line of defense on the companies White Light line of lasers, supporting the day-to-day operations. I monitor the output of the line, debug any systems that don't meet our specifications, and ensure that the operators have everything they need to do their jobs. This includes training, documentation and debugging any problems with test equipment.Furthermore, i oversee the New Product Introduction (NPI) processes on the White Light line. I work with R&D to make their prototypes ready for production, help with design changes to limit risks in a large scale production line, and prepare the operators for new products with training and documentation. After the product is transferred, I monitor the new product lines, tweaking the production or testing processes, to continously improve line performance until the New process once again become an everyday activity.Finally i am in charge of Custom Requests. If customers have any special requests for a laser, I am in charge of performing the modifications, testing that they work, and ensuring that these products live up to the quality promised by NKT Photonics.
