Hunland Trans Kft. is a daughter company of Hunland Livestock & meat import/ export and transports cows, goats, pigs and sheep all over the world, as well as refrigerated and dry transport. In total, Hunland Trans has a fleet of over 150 trucks. During my internship, I supported the planners and for my research, I looked for improvements in the loading process of a livestock vessel.

Poels Pig Husbandry keeps almost 20.000 fattening pigs divided over 2 locations and produces for the German market. Poels Arable Farm grows on average every year 250 hectares potatoes. Poels is a family business and has expanded a lot in the time that I worked there.

Fam. Alders is a farm with 240 milking cows with needed young stock, an arable farm and a small contracting business. During this internship, I did research in the composition of the feed of the cows and I helped them with daily activities like milking, feeding etc.

Maatschap Direks-Hendrickx is a company that breeds and fattens its own pigs. I did the daily activities in the farrowing barn and on Fridays, I helped loading fattened pigs. I worked here during the weekends and holidays.
