In this twelve-week clinical, I worked with patients with a wide variety of diagnoses in a state-of-the-art inpatient rehabilitation setting. Diagnoses included but were not limited to stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, cardiovascular diseases, and orthopaedic injuries. I performed an inservice at this clinical site comparing three varieties of body weight supported training robotics and their effect on self-selected gait speeds.

This clinical internship was in an outpatient orthopedic setting where I was exposed to multiple different types of patients across the lifespan. I worked with patients both preparing for and recovering from total joint replacements, and with athletes recovering from acute injuries during sport. I provided an inservice presentation on pain neuroscience education to the clinic and integrated graded motor imagery techniques into treatment with patients who presented with chronic pain.
