Jen currently serves as President and CEO of the Association of Energy Services Professionals (AESP). At AESP, her leadership focuses on propelling the energy sector towards a sustainable and resilient future. AESP's commitment to inclusive education and professional growth underpins every initiative, ensuring members are at the forefront of energy innovation. Jen and her team provide support to AESP's community of over 5,500 clean energy professionals through 12 regional chapters, conferences, topic committees, mentorship programs, webinars, and publications as well as through AESP Academy on such topics as energy efficiency technologies, electric transportation, demand response program design and implementation, demand flexibility strategies, grid edge technology deployment, beneficial electrification and demand side focused customer engagement strategies. Prior to her current role, she served as Vice President of Research and Education at the Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA), where she led her team in the development of cutting edge industry research and thought leadership as well as in the creation of educational offerings for SEPA’s membership base. Before joining SEPA, Jen spent nine years leading renewable energy, electric vehicle and sustainability programs for the Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC). Prior to her time at OUC, she was a Senior Analyst with the Florida Solar Energy Center focused on grid-connected photovoltaics and a program lead for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers South Florida Ecosystem Restoration Task Force. She is a LEED accredited professional and serves as a board member of multiple organizations including the Center for Energy Workforce Development (CEWD), Drive Electric Florida, the Florida Solar Energy Center and the University of Central Florida's College of Engineering and Computer Sciences.
