I was a team player in executing and establishing the System Safety Team build capabilities to support the Littoral Mission Vessel and Oman Naval vessel programme. After which, I moved on to the Automation Team to build on automation capabilities in the area of Decision Support, which a lot of System Safety perspectives in areas such as mitigation, rectification, operator checks, crew tasks with Yard level and Base level task that needs to be in place, I was later assigned to work on Harbour Duty Surveillance System, 2-Factor Authentication, meeting design requirement and exceeding to the pleasure of the customer. I worked in the designing and construction phase of the PCG class of vessel, working on areas related to Electrical Systems such as Lighting, Navigation Horn, Navigation and Signaling lights and panels, Flood-Lighting, Deck-lightings, Operational lights such as Blue and Red lights, Emergency lighting, Switches and Sockets, Window Wiper solution, have tackled and provided constant solutions from the arrangement of lights to providing lux calculation reports and submission of lighting and socket arrangement for class and owner approval. In my time here, I built a Decision Support program from the ground up. Implemented to display Singapore shipyard and design-capability, innovation, key-implementation of designing the support feature upfront, which supports the design, in a way assisting crew to adapt to the limitations of the equipment. I was spearheading the Harbour Duty Surveillance System (HDSS). Another critical system of monitoring the health and active status of the vessel from the operation room allows monitoring and controlling of the ship remotely from the operations of the series of ships at berth. Contribution to efforts to lean operating requirement of 1 of 2 crew is sufficient to crew vessels from berth when the ships are at berthing docks. Show less
