Job Responsibilities: • Assisting the Conservation Architects in preparing the Masterplan layouts for urban conservation projects. • Overseeing the documentation of existing heritage structures both using in-house staff and using external consultants for 3D scanning and modelling • Preparing condition assessment and analysis report of the existing heritage structures in coordination with the Conservation Architects • Meeting end user to understand their requirements and to… Show more Job Responsibilities: • Assisting the Conservation Architects in preparing the Masterplan layouts for urban conservation projects. • Overseeing the documentation of existing heritage structures both using in-house staff and using external consultants for 3D scanning and modelling • Preparing condition assessment and analysis report of the existing heritage structures in coordination with the Conservation Architects • Meeting end user to understand their requirements and to formulate strategies to incorporate their vision to the heritage structure - for example to convert an existing heritage house into a museum or café etc. • Prepare concept layouts and visual imagery (using 3D softwares such as Sketchup and Lumion) for presentation and discussions with the end user and to get final approval.• Preparing RFPs to invite external consultants to quote for specialized services• Preparation of the schematic architectural drawings for coordination with external consultants/ contractors for other engineering and technical services (such as structural, MEP, landscaping and interior design) • Preparation of detailed design drawings, oversee the preparation of specifications and BOQ, coordinate with the consultants to ensure coordinated set of documents for tender invitation.• Assist the Tender manager in inviting and selection of contractors. Negotiating and formulating project phasing and scheduling with the selected contractor to ensure timely delivery of projects. • Managing the work on site along with the site manager and construction manager and to provide additional on-site instructions and details as and when required to facilitate smooth flow of work.
