Jen van der Meer is the founder of Reason Street, a consultancy that advises boards, CEOs, and executive leaders to increase their strategic flexibility and create options for resiliency.Prior to Reason Street, Jen worked on Wall Street as an economist and then an equity analyst where she worked on the Netscape IPO, quickly progressing to executive roles in fast-growth companies Organic, Inc. and managing a successful turn-around of Frog Design’s New York office. Jen’s startup experience includes Drillteam, a customer co-creation platform company that was acquired three times (by Powered, Dachis Group, then Sprinklr), and Designers Accord, a not-for-profit that was the first to mainstream sustainability in the global creative community.As an Assistant Professor at the Parsons School of Design, Jen teaches programs at the graduate, master's, and executive education levels in innovation, business models, and impact entrepreneurship. She also researches alternative forms of capital as a vehicle that creates healthier economic development ecosystems.
