I wear many hats at Bloom's Baking House and Restaurant but I mainly deal with food. I help prep the line for the day, including making chili, bacon, hamburgers, and slicing tomatoes, among many other things. On days where I work the salad station, I prep all that is needed for our many salads, as well as prep fruit cups for the day. Some days I work in the front as a cashier where I not only cash out tickets but also answers phone calls, take to-go orders, reservations, dessert inquiries, and make sure that all drinks and miscellaneous items are completely stocked at all times. A few times a week I will help the bakery make cookies and brownies for the display case, bag and label our homemade breads, and help assist with prepping for the Saturday morning buffet.

The University Of Alabama Club

Worked at The University Club for my third hospitality internship. As an intern I worked front of the house for events and the back of the house during daily lunch service. I also learned how inventory was taken, drinks were poured, and how to properly set up the lunch buffet. My internship turned into a job where I was exclusively back of the house cooking for daily lunches and events. As a line cook, I learned how to cook many different foods and set-up food for special events.

Angelo Bruno Business Library

I worked as a student assistant in the business library on campus. My duties were to check out books and laptops to fellow students, shelf books, and handle any questions that would be asked.

Epcot

Worked as a WDW Cast Member for my second hospitality internship. I interacted with guests and cast members from around the world while selling food from carts in EPCOT's Future World, as well as in some parts of the World Showcase. Duties included overseeing the cast members in the kitchen and the quality of product that was being sent out. I also was a trainer so I taught new cast members the ropes of Outdoor Food Vending and made sure they knew how to do their job properly and efficiently.

Tuscaloosa, Alabama Area

Developed a marketing plan, including identifying a target market, positioning property, and having objectives and action plans. My team and I also made an advertising campaign to spread the world around campus and composed a marketing audit for the location of the Dance Marathon.

Cosmic Ray'S Starlight Cafe

Worked as a WDW Cast Member for my hospitality internship. I dealt with guests directly by filling orders at the counter, mulit-tasking, occasionally bussing tables, and working as a team with other cast members to fulfill the duties of the establishment.
