I grew up on the small Danish island of Samsø, under a windmill, close to the sea. My first job was growing potatoes that Samsø is so famous for. My last job there was in the tourism-industry, that makes the small island-community grow tenfold every summer. As a teenager I hurried away from what felt like a small, quiet island, to get degrees in business, multimedia design and journalism. But now I go back every month to enjoy the nature, people and calm it offers. No matter if I’m working with a content producer, preparing a campaign, pitching an angle, writing an article, editing video, building a pitch or designing something visual, I’m looking to create context that matters for the people who receive our message. My time as a journalist taught me how to uncomplicate things. To cut through the clutter, and serve up a point an audience understands - and acts on. Making the complex easier to understand - and keeping the audience in focus - is at the heart of everything I do.I enjoy being part of the entire process. I believe in well laid plans and having big conversations, but I pride myself on execution and on getting things out the door. On time. On brand. On message. And I ask questions. A lot. Because that’s how you learn something new.
