I have a sound foundation in accounting and finance, and have added a wealth of experience from senior management positions and exposure to a variety of companies where I have managed both strategic finance and operational finance. I hold professional qualifications as an ASEAN Chartered Professional Accountant (ASEAN CPA), a Chartered Accountant (CA) and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Currently I serve as the CFO of Infinitium Group of Companies. Infinitium is a financial technology group operating in the online payments space that specializes in providing secure payment solutions to financial institutions and enterprises across the Asia Pacific region. As the CFO of an established market leader, I oversee the group's finance functions, M&A activities, investment portfolio and corporate strategy.I previously served as Chief Financial Officer of Emrail Sdn. Bhd., an established EPCC contractor in the railway engineering and construction industry. I was responsible for the entire finance functions of the group, comprising financial accounting and reporting, treasury operations and corporate finance management. Another key component of my role was to assist in managing the operations of the group and its projects, from pre-contract to project accounting and internal controls. I have been successful in structuring suitable business models, securing financing facilities and negotiating with joint venture partners and subcontractors to implement our projects. I have also been integral to the group’s expansion abroad by establishing local entities in Indonesia, Singapore and India, creating tax efficient structures and setting up appropriate accounting and reporting systems.Prior to my CFO positions, I was a Founder of Capxion Media Sdn. Bhd., a startup company specializing in creative branded content and corporate media production - an experience which refined my skills in presentation, communication and negotiation, developed my leadership qualities, while building my resolve and resourcefulness in dealing with the challenges of growing a startup company.I started my accounting career in audit with Kumpulan Naga, Chartered Accountants, where I swiftly rose to the position of Audit Assistant Manager. I then progressed to the position of Finance Manager with Antara Consolidated Sdn. Bhd., an investment holding company providing financial and project management support to investee companies.
