- Developed and maintained infrastructure serving 500K Continuous Integration builds per year, providing Bazel test coverage for Asana's ~20GB monorepo.- Led simplification of base image deployment system, resulting in 50% reduction in P99 build times, 95% less base image rebuilds, and virtually 100% reduction in KTLO cost for resolving incidents related to the deployment system.- Led the migration of our AWS resources to a team-owned account over a quarter, promptly enabling the team to safely test and develop improvements to our testing infrastructure.- Mentored an intern to develop a solution to dynamically scale our compute resources based on test workload, saving 33% in AWS billing costs.- Participated in an intensive on-call rotation to ensure stability of our testing infrastructure both during and outside of peak operational hours.- Improved UX of our systems by simplifying our previously complex Git workflow.

- Automated our baremetal host decommissioning process, saving Salesforce $100K+ per datacenter and thousands of man hours per year otherwise used on a 3rd party vendor solution.- Implemented a Python OS installer to provision RHEL/CentOS distributions across ~5,000 in-house bare-metal servers.- Refactored the (RHEL/CentOS, AMI, Docker, Azure) OS image creation process using Hashicorp Packer for automation.- Developed and operated Puppet module used to configure baremetal and virtual RAID storage at scale.

- Aiding in maintenance of an in-house version of Puppet Lab’s Razor, which is responsible for imaging hosts in Salesforce’s data center.- Currently designing and implementing an automated test framework for unit testing Razor along with all its system components and for simulating the end-to-end OS imaging process.- Producing documentation for manual host imaging in order to understand and resolve inefficiencies of our current execution workflow.

- Worked on the Compliance, OS, and Patching Services (COPS) infrastructure team to design and implement an automated system that governs the monitoring of server performance and OS provisioning of Salesforce’s compute nodes.- Developed a RESTful Image Service using Python Flask that stores and serves metadata of approved OS images to be used in the reimaging process of a server.- Implemented an end-to-end system, simulating the automated monitoring and reimaging process of a set of hosts.

- Tested and debugged a synthesis timing analysis web application written in Perl used by CPU hardware design and verification engineers.- Began the founding development of a software system written in Java that facilitates fast, scalable, and flexible database access using Play! as a REST framework and Memcached as a web caching utility.

- Researched and developed security measures for mobile applications involving symptom-diagnosis and diagnosis-medical provider lookup.- Implemented a baseline mobile application on the Android platform involving Natural Language Processing and database lookups on which a privacy layer can be added.
