Recruited to support all Communication needs for the 2017 NALIP Media Summit (a four-day event culminating in a star-studded award ceremony). I wore many hats during my time at NALIP, learned a lot along the way, and NALIP continues to thrive and make meaningful headway in highlighting Latinx talent and increasing diversity in film and television.I wrote marketing materials (press releases, pitches, press kits, partnership agreements, one-sheets) and talent communications (scripts, invitations, itineraries, interview questions). In line with NALIP's subscription-model for its members, I assisted (potential) member inquiries and amended marketing strategy with that in mind. I wrote, edited, and coded (via HTML in Google Editey) content for the weekly newsletter and all social media -- introducing Instagram Stories into the digital marketing strategy. Researched (film and media) industry trends and wrote film reviews. Liaise with external organizations for potential cross-promotional partnerships.Assisted in the hiring for several positions, including writing job descriptions, recruiting, interviewing, and assigning "homework" for top candidates. Further assisted in many administrative tasks including calendar management and logistics for meetings. Streamlined cross-department collaboration, synced timelines and wrote performance reports across various facets (media, general communication, weekly social media).
