I have a passion for marketing and the application of technology and new methods to the practice of marketing. I am a graduate of the University of Southern Indiana with both a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems and a Master of Business Administration degree (MBA). I have found that the same analytical and creative skills that drew me to Computer Information Systems and web development have served me equally well in marketing.Currently, I am a Consultative Sales Associate in the Large Appliance department at Sears where I have consistently exceeded merchandise and service sales goals. My objective is to match our products/ services with the customer's needs. From initial engagement through delivery/ installation and post sale acceptance, I ensure that customers have a "wow" experience.Previously, I was Marketing Director at SIGMA Equipment where I developed marketing strategies and lead the B2B marketing efforts in an dynamic, rapidly growing team. Prior to SIGMA, I was employed by Electronics Research, Inc. (ERI) in the position of Marketing Communications Manager. ERI designs and manufactures broadcast antennas, towers, and other components for Radio and TV stations across the US and around the world. For over 10 years, I worked in a B2B marketing environment at ERI. While I initially joined ERI’s marketing department to overhaul the website, my responsibilities quickly expanded to include all aspects of marketing communications including event/tradeshow management, PR, advertising, direct marketing, corporate communications and branding.I am proficient with a number software platforms and languages including Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Kentico CMS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
