Having collaborated with YinzCam to launch its first-ever NBA team app while with the Phoenix Suns in 2012, I was excited to join the company in 2017 in a part-time capacity. As a consultant, I worked closely with the executive team that has been assembled to bring the new-look league to life in early 2020, assisting with social strategy, content production and fan engagement.The highlight of my year with the XFL was the successful launch of 24 new social media channels (Twitter, Facebook and Instagram for each of the league's eight teams), all during the 30-minute press conference to announce the host cities on Dec. 5, 2018.

I was honored to return to my alma mater in 2018 to create and teach a new upper level class for the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. The course took a close look at how sports teams, leagues, events and brands are utilzing websites, mobile apps and social media to engage their fans and increase revenue.
