10 State Region

 Lead a team of technicians, managers, and supervisors throughout a 10-state region. Includes: Operations, Maintenance, Installation, Construction, and Engineering. Includes: Directing activities of employees during outage and crisis situations to restore services quickly and safely, while updating customer’s operational teams timely of restoration progress. Supported a busy installation schedule of both lit and dark fiber services to major wireless carriers and Enterprise customers then maintaining the operational network while meeting strict SLAs, by both vendors and internal employees. Implemented a preventative maintenance program to cover a mix of 5000 wholesale, enterprise, and wireless carrier sites, using a priority method to ensure all sites were visited annually at a minimum.  Oversee all management-related issues, including hiring/training/mentoring team members, conducting performance reviews, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, project planning/scheduling, product specifications, and managing contractor invoicing. Lead initiatives for locating and coordinating contractors. Includes, setting up MSAs for Tower companies and OSP contractors for emergency restoration both in the ROW, private easements and tower restoration initiatives. Manage relationships with both current and newly established contractors and vendors. Managed vendors responsible for completing installations and service work for new site builds, OSP and network equipment changes/ enhancement, and quality of work.
