I enjoy working to provide a program that is supportive and challenging to facilitate the growth of educators and students. I work with high school students that have various exceptionalities (autism, learning disabilities, etc).Numerous experiences led me to work at Spectrum Academy. I have facilitated youth groups in after-school and summer programs, and tutored individuals and groups in remedial math and reading. I spent a year working with the Disability Resource Center at Salt Lake Community College and a few months in a kindergarten classroom at the Carmen B. Pingree School for Children with Autism. Then I worked at American Prepatory Academy as a paraprofessional supporting students with special education services.My post-secondary education started at Salt Lake Community college where I studied psychology and math concluding with a general studies associates degree. My interest in acting led me to the University of Utah where I finished a bachelor of arts in film studies. This whet my appetite for animation so I pursued an animation and illustration degree at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
