-Senior Support Engineer and acted as primary advisor to the Site Manager; assisted in the resolution of conflicts between initial site/system design and configuration during installation and fielding of the Integrated Commercial Intrusion Detection System-V (ICIDS-V).-Scheduling, installation, programming, troubleshooting, data analysis, and maintenance of DAQ equipment, individual security devices, Computer Servers, Client Workstations, Network Switches, and Communication Media responsible for monitoring the security of U.S. Army facilities.-Other duties included the managing of a multitude of software applications and files, random field quality control checks, re-engineering and analyzing installation drawings via CAD to improve installation or communications efficiency, and assisting with material replenishment.-Designated the lead contact to Network Enterprise Center (NEC) and DES Physical Security personnel; first line of defense for daily resolution of issues or concerns. Connected with NEC and DES personnel daily to assist in scheduling of network-centric and/or security equipment.-Provided program wide warranty support, training, and maintenance either in-person, via e-mail, or phone; this often-required travel to various Army installations across the United States.-Acted as program liaison with the ICIDS principal security system vendor, DAQ Technologies. Collaborated to provide quality assurance details, creating test cases, validating software updates and hotfixes, in-depth analysis of application changes, and extremely detailed documentation of all collected data.-The sole ICIDS-V trainer at Fort Hood, TX; responsible for providing software application(s), intrusion detection, and access control equipment training to all System Administrators, Operators, and Maintainers. Additionally, created and regularly revised all training literature for the entire program, as the programs only Technical Writer.

-Provided cooperative member support throughout the state of Texas to primarily coordinate the installation and maintenance of RFID equipment used for logistical purposes in regard to electrical utility poles specifically. -Required regular travel to customer sites for coordination, installation support, and training exercises.-Tasks included: Surveying of RFID Portal installation locations, documentation of RFID equipment inventory, maintenance of system hardware/software, and providing system training to client(s).-Regularly assisted with quarterly inventory activities and training at the TEC Pole Manufacturing Plant. Additionally, consulted with plant personnel to drive inventory efficiency and designed multiple process improvements to improve both accuracy and reduce inventory completion times.-Created and maintained field guides for the configuration of RFID Portal equipment. Also, assisted in the creation of all training artifacts for both internal use and end-users via Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsible for the maintenance and operations of the Performance Verification Testing (PVT) Intrusion Detection System (IDS) equipment installed at the governments Engineering Support Test Laboratory (ESTL). Lab activities included Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PCMS), inventory and accountability, software operations, and hardware testing to support the ICIDS-IV and V Product Baselines. Designed test cases and detailed feedback to the IDS software vendor for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and software validation; acting as the last line of defense prior to fielding of IDS software baselines at various United States Army installations. Additionally, doubled as the programs sole Information Assurance Technician (IAT) - Level I and Technical Writer. As a technical writer, performed the creation of the official Army Technical Manual. Additional writing performed included: Performance Verification Testing (PVT) procedures, System Performance Verification (SPV) test procedures, and all training and testing artifacts for the program.

-Received, tracked, and allocated over a million computer parts, software, and systems to Project Managers, Technicians, and Engineers across local and global facilities in the United States, Taiwan, China, and India.-Required intermediate knowledge of M-Track Inventory Manager, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and the ability to type at least 55+ Words Per Minute (WPM).-Designed the monthly and quarterly metrics reports, created in Microsoft Excel, to be presented to all Management staff during quarterly meetings.-Created and maintained custom material allocation spreadsheets via Excel for all supported project managers; increasing part/system order efficiency, testing priority, and part/system tear-downs for asset recovery.-Coordinated and performed scheduled inventories on a quarterly basis and regularly maintained one hundred percent inventory accuracy.-Regularly assisted the Prototype Design Laboratory with consumer computer (Desktop PC and Laptop) hardware builds, tear-downs, and configurations; often requiring advanced diagnostics and various forms of regression testing.-Received Dell’s prestigious “On-The-Spot Award” three times for providing excellent internal customer support and service.
