So far, I'm enjoying the journey. Are you? I'm interested in what the next chapter will bring. My mottos: (1) Where there is a will, you can find the way. (2) Ask 'why not?' (3) If everyone is moving forward together, then success takes care of itself. – Henry FordTechnology is empowering, and media can be educational and entertaining at the same time. (A shout out to my dad for making sure we had five Atari computers in the house of 3 kids, and for making me take typing in high school.) At the age of 10, I started working alongside my parents as they started their weekly newspaper, Plainfield Today, in Plainfield, N.J., which grew into City News, serving the greater Newark community. I loved being with them, I loved being in the office, I loved the weekly production process, and seeing the paper after it came off the presses. These early experiences gave me insight into the power of media--and a natural curiosity for information that has transformed into a rewarding communications career, creating engaging audience-centered digital experiences.As a young adult, I learned the value of meaningful work--it is a privilege to be able to love what you do and to empower others through what you do. That's the mindset that I bring to my work every day leading marketing and technology strategy at the Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership.

In 2021, lead the development of the university's first website branding initiative, the Rutgers Core Component Library (RCCL), a system available to all departments. Developed the design system’s governance plan, user documentation website, and processes. Founded the Component Library Working Group to foster a collaborative partnership among key information technology, marketing, and university units to help guide future development of the RCCL. Currently, serve as the main contact for user onboarding. Conceptualized and implemented the website's first content marketing and search engine optimization strategy in 2021. Participated in key presidential initiatives including: co-chair of the department's Diversity and Inclusion Committee and as a member of the Future of Work Task Force communications committee.

In this previous role within Rutgers University Communications and Marketing department, I managed the development of various print and digital projects for units across the university. My most recent projects include the management of all print collateral and the main website (commencement.rutgers.edu) for University Commencement for 2012 to 2016. Working with internal design staff and an external programming team, I oversaw the development of the Rutgers 250th Anniversary website, 250.rutgers.edu, which garnered some 600,000 views during the yearlong celebration. I also implemented weekly updates throughout the anniversary year, November 2015-November 2016. I coordinated the development of and produced the monthly Rutgers 250 enewsletter, which was circulated universitywide. Working with management, technical and design teams, and the editorial staff, I also project managed the redesign of the Cancer Institute of New Jersey website (cinj.org) and Rutgers.edu.
