At the age of 10, I started working alongside my parents as they started their weekly newspaper, Plainfield Today, in Plainfield, N.J., which grew into City News, serving the greater Newark community. I loved being with them, I loved being in the office, I loved the weekly production process, and seeing the paper after it came off the presses. These early experiences gave me insight into the power of media--and a natural curiosity for information that has transformed into a rewarding communications career, creating engaging audience-centered digital experiences.As a young adult, I learned the value of meaningful work--it is a privilege to be able to love what you do and to empower others through what you do. That's the mindset that I bring to my work every day leading marketing and technology strategy at the Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership.
