After founding The Westmark Group in 1999, I have grown the company in providing environmental consulting services to private and governmental clients throughout the United States and the People's Republic of China. I have served as the principal technical and administrative officer for the company since its inception. I provide oversight for all company matters, including the successful performance of project tasks as well as providing positive experiences for our clientele.

Managed Phase I Environmental Site Assessment group. Provided supervision over staff during the preparation of Phase I ESAs.

Performed environmental consulting on statewide Caltrans contract. Performed environmental assessments on Caltrans projects including the San Francisco Bay Bridge re-construction, the Interstate 880/Cypress Viaduct collapse from the 1989 Loma Prieta Earthquake, widening of Highway 1 through Santa Cruz, improvements to the I-680 / I-580 interchange in Dublin, CA, and numerous seismic retrofits to overpass and bridges through central and northern California.

Performed field and project management duties for leaking underground storage tank projects, Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, and general environmental consulting projects.

Performed duties as an environmental and engineering technician. Sampled groundwater wells. Performed soil sampling activities. Conducted field activities for soil and groundwater remediation projects. Performed drafting duties (ink and mylar) for engineering and environmental projects. Served as rod man for two-person survey crew.
