I have more than 5 years of experience developing software applications, contributing to large-scale projects, and building mobile applications. I am primarily an Android developer but have worked in different capacities across the years, having also assumed the role of front-end developer and DevOps engineer, which accounts for my broad tech stack including Android SDK, Java, Kotlin, MVVM/MVP architecture, DevOps, AWS, Jenkins, GCP, Azure, C#, and front-end technologies like JavaScript, Vue.js, Vuex, Bootstrap, and HTML/CSS. Additionally, I took responsibility for configuring and overseeing remote server instances for the deployment of the web app. I used the MVVM architecture, Dagger for dependency injection, and the Android SDK.I collaborated with a team of engineers to develop essential application features focused on recommending and trading insurance products for Wapic & FBNInsurance, two prominent insurance companies in Nigeria. Our efforts were aimed at enhancing the overall user experience and providing seamless insurance services through the application. The WAPIC app was eventually changed to Coronation Insurance as it was acquired by the multinational.I resolved various UI bugs in the desktop application, addressing issues to improve the visual experience for users. Additionally, I developed a Windows C# script that runs on a background thread, ensuring the continuous operation of the RedCheetah Windows app’s services. This implementation effectively prevented potential revenue leakage, enhancing the app’s stability and reliability.

    I enhanced and optimized the Tradebuza Agro and Capture Android apps, improving their performance and memory management, resulting in a lightweight app with reduced crashes, particularly on low-end devices.I developed a new version of the Tradebuza app that combined the features of both Tradebuza Agro and Capture applications. I optimized the mapping and location feature to improve it to function even in areas with no cell towers or Wi-Fi signals, utilizing the Google Maps SDK. Furthermore, I optimized all the applications for offline usage, enabling agents to capture data in remote locations with limited internet connectivity. Lastly, I designed and implemented a location geofencing algorithm that operated effectively in remote areas without cell tower coverage. Handled dependency injection using Dagger, local storage using Room, MVVM architecture, and used the Android SDK in the project.
