I have worked for the last 3 years with the Performing Arts Fort Worth – Bass Performance Hall, performing safety and risk venue management expertise, and 19 years prior to that in customer service, hospitality, and protection services security with the Marriott International/Gaylord Entertainment family. I have experience and knowledge in multiple security functions, including hospitality, customer service, venue, operational, retail, restaurant/bar, convention, warehouse, physical, data, incident response, personal security, access control, security awareness, threat intelligence, and global/corporate security. I have conducted numerous investigations and interrogations, both for internal and external claims, and have been able to successfully present those claims to senior executives and global security leaders. I have developed and presented focus driven classes on a variety of emergency response situations and security functions, including fire, medical, active shooter, and protection services security. I am well versed in departmental budgets, forecasting, and internal audits, generating over 2.3 million in profit for my previous organization and zero negative marks on the external audits for the 7 years I was overseeing the metrics. I have spent most of my time planning and conducting the security for many corporate meetings, major events, and protective services for celebrities, corporate leaders, and government dignitaries. I have been a leader of 150+ security officers and management staff at any given time, along with an emergency medical team during this time.
