I recently graduated with two degrees from Northwestern University in pursuit of a writing career. Focusing on nonfiction writing has enabled me write about and research an array of topics: suicide, opioid addiction, protest art, literary Romanticism, childhood psychology, trauma theory, and queer studies. While working on my own creative writing, I have also freelance edited other people's manuscripts, both academic and creative. I have over three years of experience working in public libraries, in various roles: everything from circulation to reference. I've processed passports and worked the children's desk; worked switchboard and managed the collection; written numerous book reviews and taught digital media classes.
