I program Micros Point Of Sales systems for the restaurant, casino, hotel and retail industry. This requires the understanding of several disciplines including SQL, TCP/IP, Crystal Reports, network administration, Windows Server Environment, data back-up and recovery, remote access solutions, and PC trouble shooting and repair. I also train the end user on the many functions of their systems in a clear and friendly manner. This is a lost art. So many of the IT professionals today are experts in their specialty but have no PR/social skills. I have a reputation of putting the customer at ease during high stress situations. While training the end user on the functions of their systems I am skilled in relating complex operations in a clear and friendly manner. This creates a very positive relationship between my self and the customer.
