I am an alumni of Slippery Rock University where I studied Economics and Computer Science. My Economics coursework taught me how to manipulate and model data while my computer science coursework has given me ways to use this data in an effective manner. Through my studies, I gained many assets that have not only built my knowledge but also my confidence as an individual and team member. On top of my regular course work, I completed Free Code Camps certification course on JavaScript Algorithms and Data Structures and Microsoft’s foundational C# course.Outside of my academics, I worked as an office assistant in the Payroll and Student Employment Department at Slippery Rock University. In this job, I have gained an understanding of office life and have received experience with collaborative work, filing, and general office workflow. Along with these, I have been able to apply my knowledge of Excel to aid the office in becoming more efficient and paperless, while at the same time, expanding my general knowledge of Excel and the ERP system SAP database our campus uses. Recently, I had the opportunity to work at GeoDecision as an intern working directly with ChatGPT. I gained many insights into prompt development, the GPT-3 API model, and many different uses for this AI tool. I was able to leverage this in combination with Excel, Power Automate, JavaScript, and Python to perform various automated tasks and analyses that integrate AI with everyday work processes and needs.
