Assistant State'S Attorney - Juvenile Division
CurrentRepresent the State of Maryland at all points of case progress through the juvenile system, including competency, detention hearings, adjudications, and examination of expert witnesses. Manage court appearances calendar; litigate juvenile motions and cases for both misdemeanors and felonies; investigate and prepare juvenile delinquency matters for trial; prepare victims, witnesses, police and experts for trial; prepare written motions, responses and memoranda; engage in peer case reviews; attend office-wide trainings and presentations; research relevant case law.
