Led design of an internal electronics package capable of supporting weight 2-3 times the weight of the aircraft at various angles of elevation using CAD software and developed laser cutting files in Retina Engrave software. Engineered electronics jamming adapter capable of mounting a schedule 40 PVC pipe and withstanding drag forces of a radio-controlled (RC) plane flying 100 feet per second. Executed and oversaw a design campaign for a trussed support stand capable of supporting an RC plane from its wing tips to test structuralintegrity of the plane’s wings using weight applied on the fuselage.

Conceptualized a method of deploying COVID vaccine packages from an RC plane consisting of a 2-foot-long conveyor belt powered by a servo with a gated belt to control package deployment. Successfully fabricated a frictionless deployment ramp using wet carbon fiber layups with vacuum set resin.

Designed a system for deploying vaccine packages from a radio controlling aircraft. Fabricated carbon fiber layups, 3D Printing and woodworking techniques during manufacturing the vaccine deployment system.

Performed fiberglass layups on a 6 foot hot-wire cut foam wing with carbon fiber roving to augment strength of wings to maintain drag forces experienced during flight. Obtained experience with hot wire cutting through foam by excavating sections of the fuselage for wiring and servo mounting.

- Investigated feasibility of modern additive manufacturing techniques through compliant mechanism research- Maintenance and instruction of several machines including: Prusa 3D printer, Mark Forge MetalX, laser cutters, waterjet, soldering equipment, etc.- Prototype modern conversions of conventional mechanism in pursuit of cost reduction and weight efficiency of several LM products- advised and consulted other interns/employees on manufacturing techniques for small scale prototypes

• Critiqued parts drawings across all subteams through verification of proper FEA analysis and GD&T labelling before sending to manufacturing • Teach new members (>10) how to utilize 3D modelling software and simulation through Solidworks and Ansys • Managed integration efforts for all mechanical teams to ensure seamless system functionality

Developed a customized flywheel for testing a magnetic levitation based braking system for a scaled down hyperloop pod. Implemented a database for subteams to submit testing requirements for component parts. Conduct parts organization and purchase through BOM excels and redefining part numbering conventions for the team.

Manufactured, tested, assembled and integrated a suspension system for a small scale hyperloop pod. Calibrated air shocks and spring dampeners to suspend the weight of the hyperloop pod prototype. Showcased the completed system at European Hyperloop Week in the Netherlands.

Researched, designed and manufactured a scaled down prototype of a lunar mobile habitat for future lunar missions. Successfully passed a Preliminary Design Report of our design judged by a board of NASA directors and mentors.
