I am Jeremiah Monaghan, and I am a sophomore at the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I am studying Finance, and am a member of the 1794 Scholars Program. I have strong experience in customer service and working with others thanks to over three years of work experience that saw me dealing with hands-on customer interaction on a daily basis. I am incredibly invested in the work I do, and pride myself in my ability to lead a project or group to the best conclusion possible due to my drive to succeed no matter what obstacles I face. This is shown by my success in both school and work as an Honors student and a strong employee that remains with my current place of work for over a year.Moving forward, my goal is to gain a job in the Finance indutry, either as a financial manager or an accountant. I hope to acquire a summer internship for this summer and the next, before looking for a career in the field following graduation. I gravitate towards corporate finance or banking, as my primary goal is to have an effect on a greater scale when it comes to the business I work for’s financial implications. I hope to give my all to whatever company I end up at, and do my best to form a strong network that allows me to succeed in whatever position I put myself in.
