I have an extensive 15+ years hands-on background and education in Construction as well as Environmental Technology. I have had the privilege of working with a lot of different types of building materials and techniques including Solar Electric as well as Solar Thermal. I have also had the honor of working with people from a lot of different social backgrounds. I have seen how to do things right, and also how the least costly investment in your home health is usually not best. As they use to say, "You get what you pay for". I also noticed how wasteful our building techniques and materials have been in our building processes for a long time of very valuable limited resources. There were many other issues that some unfortunate homeowners had to deal with post rushed closing dates with certain companies as well. The work load, timelines, and lack of adequate health care were not sustainable for contractor employee health & wellness either. I noticed similar non-sustainable issues in some non-construction industries I had the experience of working in as well.Sustainability starts with personal Health and Wellness is my new motto. After many times getting burnt out with lots of unsustainable 5-6 days a week, 40+ hours per week jobs, I knew there had to be more to life than mediocre existence. I mustered up a bunch of courage, bought a nice sales outfit, cleaned myself up, and tried commission based direct sales the first time with a company called Filter Queen. I was selling HEPA Vacuum cleaners and air purifiers by generating my own door to door leads. It was a very cool and fun experience, but I did not have the capital or patience to get good at sales yet. I settled and went back to what I knew I could. Later I had a friend that invited me to a Clean-eating Team Beachbody challenge group. I signed up as a Coach under her leadership with a simple monthly delicious superfood shake that I needed to meet my own health goals anyway. This experience was revolutionary! I learned the priceless value of making time everyday for personal development, a supportive remote community, and even shifting some of my limiting beliefs! Life got hectic and I went back to what I "knew".During COVID I went back to school to become a Massage Therapist to improve my work/life balance and help others do the same. I worked at Massage Envy as a Wellness Advisor while in school, and excelled in sales finally! I actually had this "sustainability affiliate" vision a couple years ago, but no clue how to build it. I got the iProsper invite pre-launch end of 2023.
