From the moment I began my career, I knew my path was forged in business roles focused on bringing growth and success. 27 years later, after having helped multiple businesses reach success, some of them my own, I can safely say that my intuition was right.Even as I transitioned into technology-centered roles early in my career, my sights were always trained on the big picture. During my stint at Conagra, a CPG company, I was made a leader of Project Nucleus, a program aimed at unifying independent operating units into one functional whole. I took my decade at Conagra into a consulting role at Booz & Company, where I leveraged my experience to help established CPG companies in North and South America bring about digital and business transformation to achieve their strategic objectives. Next, at Danone and Del Monte, I developed a proclivity towards the integration of acquisitions, and using data/analytics as inputs to key business strategies. All the while, I kept sharpening my business and strategic acumen. Fast forward to today, I am a successful business owner in the US and Africa. Having helped developed my own companies like ahatis into a respected organization focused on using technology and data to delivery business with our SaaS offerings, CIO as a service, identity management, and staffing. With my most recent venture, Source African, we help African companies expand their product and services to key US markets. I and my family enjoy spending time in East Africa, where we also provide opportunities for underprivileged children to live their life by choice, and not circumstance.
