As the President of UMOJA, the Boston University Black Student Union, I lead a team of 20 board members and over hundreds of general members in organizing events, programs, and initiatives that celebrate and support Black students and culture on campus. I also work as a Front Office Assistant at Boston University, where I provide administrative and customer service support to students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Additionally, I recently joined the Boston University Events & Conferences team as an Operations Assistant, where I will assist with the planning and execution of living situations for events and conferences hosted by the university. I am pursuing a degree in Hospitality Administration/Management at Boston University, and I plan to graduate in May 2025. I have developed strong communication, problem solving, and time management skills through my academic and professional experiences, and I am passionate about creating inclusive and welcoming spaces for diverse communities. My goal is to use my hospitality and leadership skills to make a positive impact in the field of Real Estate, both in the operations and acquisition sector.
