I am a Registered Public-Safety Leader (RPL) certified Public Safety Telecommunications (PST) Instructor with over 32 years of diverse public safety communications experience with increasing responsibilities. Upon successful completion of the PST Instructor & Fire Service Communications Instructor courses from the Association of Public-Safety Communication Officials International (APCO), I spent 118 of the past 20 years as a PST Instructor, training students in the best practices of PST. Chosen over 100's of other professional PST's to dispatch for the Utah Olympic Public Safety Command at the XIX Olympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City, 2002, my position contributed ok to Homeland Security & ultimate protection of athletes, diplomats, host of international spectators, & the community of Salt Lake City area. Served the US, working as the Area Support Group - Kuwait Fire & Emergency Services Communications Center Manager, protecting the U.S. military, providing a safe & secure environment while they fight the War against Terrorism. 2011-2015 I became an Instructor at Asnuntuck Community College in Enfield CT, where I developed, coordinated, & instructed the PST Program.I'm certified to teach the following APCO courses at the agency level, PST1, FSC, LEC, EMD Concepts, CTO, and CCS. I am currently working for the Albany, New York Police Department as the 9-1-1 Director. I’m also working with individuals around the capital region to start up a CISM/PEER Support team for public safety professionals. Recently I became certified in FBI-LEEDA, Supervisor Leadership Institute, and eTrilogy.I am also a PEER on the WMCISM AND Commonwealth 9-1-1 Peer Support teams.
