From the very beginning, I was drawn towards data analysis and process improvement. However, I've learned through experience that people, culture and mindset are the most important drivers of success.Seventeen years ago, … it was late on a Wednesday afternoon, and I was sitting in Dr. Douglas' Data Mining class at the University of Arkansas professional MIS program. Listening to Dr. Douglas present imaginatively on statistical applications in business for predictive analytics. In my mind I pieced together concepts from great science fiction novels like Neuromancer, and learnings from my analytics and lean six sigma efforts at Walmart. I had an epiphany that Data Science is the heart of what will become AI. Working with data, analytics, AI and people through multiple business trends over the past 25 years has prepared me to serve and lead as the world transforms to bring AI to life.I am human-first, know the difference between good and bad strategy, and I've touched the heart of AI.My hero features are Innovation, Product and GTM plus I’ve been formally trained and worked as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Data Scientist and a Software Engineer in past lives.I can be biased, and I make mistakes.
