• Independently launched and managed a freelance graphic and character design business from no customer base to approximately ~918 customers in two years via the maintenance of verbal and written communication with customers in addition to prompt problem solving when issues arose. • Conducted daily business operations such as promptly and accurately recording payments received, refunds issued, and customer contact information; created invoices, averaging 1568 transactions annually. • Implemented the use of several intermediate Excel functions, including but not limited to Pivot Tables, Indexing, Table Filtering, and Lookups to decrease the time taken to prepare budget and tax documentation from ~3 hours (2020) to ~30 minutes (2022). • Used conditional formatting to identify delinquent payments and communicate the status of such payment, as well as additional charges, to customers in a cool and calm manner. • Utilized advanced Excel functions to consolidate spreadsheets, analyze income and loss information, and prepare accurate ledger for each year of business operation.

• Extracted location, species, and flowering data from previously un-transcribed herbarium specimens, and compiled the collected data into Google Sheets spreadsheet document.• Responsible for the annotation of >4000 botanical specimens; categorizing them based upon aspects such as flower color, leaf quantity, and presence of herbivory. • Collaborated with fellow researchers to analyze possible ecological patterns and issues in collected data relevant to herbivores, plant specimens, and anthropogenic factors.
