My professional aim is to be a pivotal member of a management team in the growth of the business utilising my effective business development, client relationship management skills and unique skillsets. I am driven to ensure the implementation of a quality finished product through continuous monitoring of practices, sound understanding of business systems and to achieve quality outcomes; giving the project team a sense of achievement and the plant owner peace-of-mind on the protection and operation of their asset.I have worked in the protective coatings industry (NACE II qualified), including within the mining industry, maritime industry and the Australia Defence Force, for the past 23 years. Roles include; business development and operations manager, site supervisor, project planning, site management, workplace safety management, site project supervisor, coatings inspector, survey compilation and industrial painter and blaster.I have managed onsite, yard and ship-borne teams of up to 200 personnel per shift, while coordinating multiple projects and tasks to deadlines and budgets. Sound workplace safety management incorporating risk management strategies and implementing standard operating safety procedures. Demonstrating strong work ethic and excellent people skills, I have the ability to relate and report to people on all levels.
