This is the undergraduate version of a Teacher Assistant. Responsible for helping with the Software Engineering class (CS 4320) which included: • Creating assignments and rubrics• Running two class periods while the professor was out of town• Grading student work and exams• Holding office hours, and working with students to answer all questions and provide study material

I was part of a Business Intelligence Team working with Hadoop/Big Data. This involved the use of Hadoop (through Horton Works) along with Python and Java. In addition to that I worked with social media API's to view and understand consumer data. For presenting the findings from these projects I used d3 and Tableau to create interactive visualizations. I also used google analytics and google search analytics to track website traffic and referrals which were tracked over the summer to show the impact of the changes that were made. Using these findings I worked on the shoeboxblog.com tumblr page to implement changes. During the week these changes went into effect the number of followers more than doubled and interaction with other blogs on the site increased traffic to the shoebox blog by over 300%.Also worked during the fall as a social media consultant for the shoeboxblog.com tumblr page. Using Google Analytics and Google Search Analytics, influenced content, timing, and frequency of posts to generate the most amount of traffic and views. Sent weekly reports for each type of social media (Instagram, Twitter, and Tumblr) which included what from the week went well, performed below expected, modifications to make for the next week, and what other companies in a similar field were posting on their accounts.

Working on development of the Soykb.org website including new tools and standalone versions. I was involved in work on two main tools, SignalP and TargetP.
