About Jeremy Ferrell

I have an extensive background in design and installation of renewable energy systems, including solar technologies and biodiesel processing. My research interests are closed-loop system design, biofuels and biosystems processing, permaculture design, appropriate technology for the developing world, and implementing principles of industrial ecology via energy and materials flow. I have professional proficiency in Spanish and professional working proficiency in Portuguese and have conducted international projects in Nicaragua, Paraguay, Peru, and Brazil.
