Hunter also provides custom manufacturing for other industries.I built the sustainability program from the ground up, first by organizing a Sustainability Council of employee volunteers and then by gaining leadership support through a formal business case for sustainability reporting. I built Hunter’s first Social Responsibility Report and developed a tracking and reporting system to collect data from across the company. With the success of my efforts, the organization created a sustainability department. As the first Sustainability Manager at Hunter, I baselined their energy, water, and waste usage and developed corresponding goals and programs to reduce each. With this knowledge we created a five-year roadmap based on future trends and our company’s goals. I ran the first corporate GHG quantification and supplier audit, which developed into a supplier code of conduct and internal sustainability policy. Finally, I authored Hunter’s annual Social Responsibility Report.
