About Jeremy Lambert

Inspirational and driven technical leader in engineering design, robotics and automation with extensive experience in full product lifecycle. I have brought to life numerous projects in robotics, mechanical and software disciplines. With grounded business acumen, a fibre for entrepreneurship and a passion for people management, I work as comfortably with board members as with my junior engineers. I lead by example and I cultivate an open and collaborative approach to everyone’s daily activities, whilst maintaining the cap on ambitious core business objectives.I currently support McLaren’s Accelerator by providing my expertise to their clients, particularly in process improvements and technical issue resolution. By devising specific projects and workshops, and leading their delivery alongside the client, I ensure that I can make a real impact and that I can share as much of my experience as possible.Previously as the CTO of Again, I owned the technical roadmap, built and led the engineering team to design a full production line with two custom automated systems and a third one on the way. A portion of my time was also spent supporting the partnerships team on their journey to acquire customers and supply channels. I leveraged the learning from all of my previous roles, including leading the engineering department at Shotoku, a high-precision robotics manufacturer in the broadcast industry. At Shotoku, I owned the technical vision, product roadmap and its delivery (6 ranges, 14+ products including 2 software suites). I managed a cross-functional department of small teams in robotic design, development, testing and high-level software applications. Being very keen on new technologies and always seeking to increase efficiency, I rejuvenated the roadmap and brought in fresh design solutions in parallel of improving internal communication between departments. I bring a unique approach to my work from my experience at a high-volume automotive manufacturer and in the start-up ecosystem. I am a chartered engineer with specialisation in automotive engineering, robotic and automation systems, high-level software development, and in-depth project management (Lean, Agile, Scrum, full life cycle plan, structured issue resolution...). And I continue to learn!I split my spare time between my three main passions: music performance (orchestras and various gigs), running and board games. I also love travelling, baking and I have started exploring Sci-Fi literature.
